By accessing and using Sound of Text (https://soundtext.github.io), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Sound of Text provides a free text-to-speech conversion service that allows users to convert written text into MP3 audio files using Google Translate’s TTS engine. The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the service. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Generating content that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
  • Attempting to interfere with the proper working of the service
  • Using automated systems or software to extract data from the service

4. Intellectual Property

All content generated through Sound of Text using Google’s TTS engine is subject to Google’s terms of service. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of generated audio complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Privacy

6. Limitation of Liability

Sound of Text shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
